[[ *is a lazy bastard* Sorriiiii. ]]
It was funny, before when she didn't know that he was a Vampire she acted fine around him, like a human treated a human. And now that it was a revealed fact - that he indeed was a Vampire, now she was nervous, and shaking around him. Like he hadn't been a Vampire only a few hours ago.
He watched her, but barely, because he did not want to frighten her. So he sat there rather limply, awaiting her response to his comments. She started with straddling him, and his first instinct was to gently rest his hands on her hips, but he held back, and just waited so he would not alarm her. It was her turn to do whatever she pleased, not for him. He allowed her to hold his face, and when he felt her eyes avert to his, he moved his from their spot on the ground, and stared slowly, meeting her eyes with his own, souless pair.
Keiran saw tears start to form in her eyes, and he wondered if he did something wrong, so he instinctively moved his gaze from her, looking at something else - anything else. Her pain sort of stabbed him - especially knowing it was probably him that c aused it. As her finger gently slipped to his lips, he parted them gently, and closed his eyes. He allowed her to feel the pointed teeth, and he did not even flinch. He was sure to stay extremely still - like stone, so he wouldn't frighten her. The calmer he stayed, the easier it was to resist that crimson liquid.
He hugged her before she removed her shirt, glad that she got through touching him with only minimal tears. But she still sobbed slightly, and it made him want to hold her.
But now they were back to the way before he admitted his true 'identity' and Keiran wasn't sure if he should return to that previous emotion, or cool it down a little so he didn't get to crazy. This was an act of trust though, and he'd show her that he could handle it. He could.
He allowed his stone cold hands to run along her bare back, and his lips moved against hers, a little more gently than before so he did not apply to much pressure to her wound. Keiran brought Mikaela closer, one hand moving from her back to gently cup her cheek, soon after his hand slipped from the position, resting on her shoulders so his kisses could fall down her neck, stopping at her chest and a childish grin appeared on his lips. "I'm sorry, my mouth near your neck is probably making you paranoid.." he stated the obvious to himself, and retreated to her lips, kissing softly, hoping to earn her trust. Or at least some.
It was getting easier, as long as he didn't breathe than it was so much easier to continue the act. Yet some part of him wanted to breathe...

Mikaela always knew in her heart that Keiran was a good person. What she hadn’t known was that he was a vampire. Was it wrong for her to be scared even though he’d revealed himself to be a creature that could potentially kill her? Even though she knew that behind the ebony eyes and fangs, Keiran was a sweet (and quirky) guy that she really liked? It wasn’t Keiran that she was afraid of, and so her feelings toward him wouldn’t change. It was the Vampire with in him that she feared. As they kissed and he touched he body, Mikaela could feel herself relax a little. Though his pale hands felt cold against her warm skin, something about it just felt right to her, as if she need not be afraid any longer. Mikaela closed her eyes and held her breath as she felt Keiran’s lips on her neck. When the bite never came she exhaled and her eyes fluttered open. He didn’t make a move to bite her and she wasn’t afraid anymore. They had both passed her test.
Now her mood had changed. She was feeling really good about things and it showed. Mikaela added a little more pressure to the kisses and placed her hands on his shoulders. She kissed his lips, then along his jaw, then along his neck and down his bare chest, sliding her hands down to his stomach. She was working her way down his abdomen when something inside her told her to stop. Sitting up, she pecked him on the lips once more. “As much as I would love to continue, and trust me, I would, I just really wanna talk to you for a while.”
Mikaela stood up and took Keiran by the hand, leading him back to the bed. She lied down on her stomach and turned to face him. “I know I’ve said this more than once tonight, but I really like you.” She paused for a moment thinking about what to say next. “This might sound stupid because I’ve never really had to do this before. I want to see you again…after tonight. And I don’t wanna screw things up by rushing into things with you. We’ve already been through a lot together and we’ve only known each other for a few hours. I guess what I’m trying to say is, do you maybe want to go on a date or something…so we could talk or whatever?” Mikaela couldn’t remember the last time she’d been on a date and she’d never asked anyone out before. “It’s okay if you don’t want to. I mean…I’ll just shut up now.” Emabrassed she buried her face in her hands. Mikaela was never embarrassed or shy around a guy, but now she was and felt incredibly stupid for it.
OoC: ehhhh… not so proud of this one either. what's wrong with me?!?!?!

Ooc: You should be proud! At least you post on time!!! -_- - slaps self - I am a horrible person. There were times where he wished that he could take it all away - times like these. The ones where he started really liking someone who was human. And that tended to be a lot of the time. He preferred humans, he liked the natural glow, and the smell of blood that always was carried around was also a nice plus. It was an awful way to think, but he loved it, the rushing blood, the beating heart. He didn't want someone like himself: stone cold, and unable to do all the amazing functions that the living could.
Keiran was indeed proud of himself for not biting her, he knew he had that in him, and Mikaela seemed happy as well, for her eyes opened, and his own dark ones locked on hers for mere seconds. Her actions seemed to be getting heated, for she was applying more pressure to everything, and he groaned just the slightest as she worked her kisses down his torso, but then she stopped. All he could do was open one eye at a time, and grin as her lips went gently against his. He continued to smile, "I'm perfectly happy with that decision," he grabbed her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze before being lead over to the bed.
He layed down beside her, but he layed on his back so that he was looking up at her. He smiled as she began to stutter just the slightest, he would have never expected it from her. She seemed to have this confidence behind her that he couldn't comprehend. She just seemed strong, like she'd never let anyone get too much of her. "I understand... and yeah sure, I'd love to.. well.. go on a date with you, I think it'd be fun.. I couldn't imagine not seeing the girl that actually accepted that I was a vampire.. oh yah.. you probably shouldn't tell anyone about that.." he said, he was sure that she'd gathered that, but he wanted to make sure.
"I don't even want you to know, I wish I could take it back..." he muttered, discouraged that he'd let himself get so weak as to let her find out that he was a vampire. He really could have contained himself. Yet it was probably better that she did know, when they first knew each other. Rather than later on, if things got more serious... Keiran ran his fingers through her hair, for she'd thrown her head down in embarassment. "So what would you like to talk about?" Keiran asked, for she did say she wanted to just talk to him.

Mikaela smiled when Keiran agreed to talk to her. A guy that didn’t need her on her back was refreshing. She had a lot on her mind, a lot of questions. Anything else would have to wait. She breathed in deeply as she lie there, trying to rid herself of that shaky feeling she always got after a good cry. She felt vulnerable in front of him and she wasn’t sure if she liked it. He had seen more out of her in one day than most saw in a lifetime.
She was relieved when he said that he’d go on a date with her. She’d never asked a guy out before. She never had to, but she didn’t want them to go on pretending like they didn’t know each other after tonight. Not that that’d be possible, seeing as how much had already gone down. “Of course I won’t tell anyone. I promise.” She made and an X over her heart with her finger. “I’m glad that I know. Even though I have my own, I don’t really like secrets. What people don’t know about you they’ll only lie and make up. I’m being a hypocrite though. I don’t mind the lies people make up about me. They’re often better than the truth.”
Shifting on the bed a little, she turned to look at him. “I’m not going to judge you, but I want you to know that this isn’t going to be easy for me for a while. I have accepted that you’re a vampire and I’m okay with that. It’ll just take some getting used to.” Mikaela thought before she continued. She had a lot on her mind that she wanted to talk to him about and she didn’t really know where to start.
“So, uh, how did you become a vampire?” That sounded stupid. She asked him as if he went to university and majored in bloodlusitng creature-ology. “I mean, were you born this way or did someone turn you into a vampire?” It wasn’t until after that Mikaela realized that the questions she was asking were kind of personal. But it really didn’t seem like a big deal to her, seeing as how she already knew what she thought to be his biggest secret.

He wouldn't pass up a talk with Mikaela. Any girl still willing to talk to him after finding out he was a vampire was truly astounding. So he layed beside her, and awaited her to say something. He figured that she may have something on her mind, and he wanted to hear it.
Keiran smiled at her, he could see the relief on her face that he agreed to a date. He liked making her happy, which was awkward for him, really. He always did try to be a sweetheart though, except it was difficult when his senses were so heightened. But he felt his vampire like tendencies fading away. He pushed the bloodlust in the back of his mind, he'd just grap someon...something to eat later. "Thank you," he told her, gratiously, he was so glad that she wouldn't tell anyone. Hopefully she wasn't one for lying...
"I see..." he said, with a somewhat guilty smile, "I would have loved to come by it honestly before, but I usually don't meet people and say; Hi, my name's Keiran, I'm a vampire, do you still want to be my friend? ... it usually doesn't work so great," he said, with a small grin. "And don't worry, I won't pester about your secrets, I don't think they are as life threatening as mine... because I'm already dead and all," he said, with a somewhat guilty look. He felt bad, still, about the weight of him being a vampire thrown on her shoulders. It was kind of nice for someone to know, though.
"I understand, it's okay, you didn't try to kill me, and you only ran away slightly... You came back, which means your willing to work on it, I guess..." he said, taking her hand, and placing it against his own cheek. He liked physical contact when he talked and stuff - he was a little touchy feely, as many people knew, but usually not in a creepy way. Maybe the... needy way. Because not many people liked contact that he knew.
He grinned at the question, now just holding her hand, and staring at a pillow on the bed. "Somebody turned me... I'd be ancient looking if I was born a vampire, by now, because I'm pretty old..." he said honestly. How old was he now? He didn't even want to count! It was way too old. His age alone would probably freak her out. Keiran wasn't ready to tell her about how he got turned, it was actually really painful, slightly upsetting to remember how his whole life was turned upside down.

Mikaela laughed at what he said about meeting people. It was true. That would be a bit awkward. She was grateful for the fact that Keiran wouldn’t pry about her secrets, but despite what he believed, they were life threatening. For her. Her secrets were bottled up inside of her, slowly eating away at her, and would kill her. Mikaela was a danger to herself, and maybe telling all to Keiran would save her. But she didn’t want to do that. Not yet.
The next thing he said kind of threw her off guard. “You didn't try to kill me…” The word ‘kill’ rang in her head like a church bell. Images and memories began rushing through her head and she could suddenly see the man sitting in front of her, laughing. Trying to keep her cool, Mikaela shut her eyes tightly. When she opened them the image of the man was gone. She exhaled loudly, for she had been holding her breath when the image appeared. “I felt a sneeze coming on,” she said, hoping that the little white lie would keep her actions from looking too suspicious.
When Keiran put her hand on his cheek she smiled. She didn’t question it. It felt nice to be able to touch someone in a way that wasn’t sexual for once. They were just enjoying each other’s company and she liked it that way. As she looked at him she wondered how long it would be till she would see his beautiful blue irises again. It was if his eyes had a hold on her and the thought of them made other things seem less important at this moment.
After gathering her thoughts, Mikaela gave a response. “Turned? That means someone…bit you.” She could just imagine him feeling as scared as she had been a few moments ago, but his situation ending in a totally different way. Maybe that’s not how it happened at all, but she didn’t want to ask. The more personal things that came from him, more would come from her and she just wasn’t ready for that yet. “Wow.” She really didn’t know what else to say to that. He had been completely human once, but if he hadn’t been turned into a vampire, they would have never met.
OoC: ehhh...crap

"Exactly," he said with a small smile as she laughed at what he said. Keiran knew how secrets were nice to be kept sometime. They'd only just met, she had no reason to tell him her whole life story. If she wanted to, he'd listen, but Keiran knew she wasn't ready for it yet, and he'd completely accept that. Wasn't he sweet? He chuckled, he'd probably be beat up if he ever lived with a clan of vampires. He was too much of a softy.
"Okay.." he said in response to her sneeze comment, she didn't look like she was going to be okay for a couple minutes. But she said she was fine, it was just a sneeze. So Keiran nodded along with his okay.
He was glad Mikaela didn't mind the contact. It was just something that he had gained early on in life. Maybe as a Vampire now he needed that extra touching to be convinced that he was OK. Keiran wished that his eyes would go back to their usual softness, because Mikaela did enjoy them more. But the only thing that would return his pretty eyes would be for him to have a little...snack... it was tempting. And if he did get something, then he wouldn't have to worry about harming her.
"Yeah... not the best experience in the world - the most painful thing ever, really," both physically and emotionally, Keiran thought. The whole thing was traumatic. He hoped it never had to happen to her - he even wished that it didn't happen to him. "Yeah, so I know what it's like to be human, and I miss it actually, supernatural strength and amazing looks isn't all it's cracked up to be.." Keiran said with a small smirk.
"Can you hold on a moment, dearest?" he said it very prim and proper, and excused himself. He slipped quickly out of the dorm, with a packet of blood in his hands. He kept extra in his bags just so he didn't eat anybody. Mikaela probably didn't see him snatch it due to the fact that he moved extremely quickly. His fangs protruded more as the blood came in contact with his lips, and he devoured the blood in a matter of seconds. Pretty beastly, but it had to be done.
Using his arm he wiped away the blood, and he used his wand to erase the bag from existence. Amazing spell, that was. and back into the room he headed. His fangs were progressively shortening, and by the time he hopped on the bed and looked into Mikaela's eyes, his own were fading from beady black to the sweet, ocean-like eyes that he had possessed before. "So, what would you like to talk about? Still have any questions? Because I mean.. I'm sure this is new to you.." he grabbed her hand, and with both of his hands he held it. { ahh, overly long post. XP }

Mikaela couldn’t even begin to imagine what being turned was like. That was a life changing event that she probably wouldn’t have been able to go through…not to say that she hadn’t already been through moments like that, just not to that degree. She had been through enough already for someone her age and she hoped that life would be somewhat normal from then on. She didn’t know how much more she could take.
She was about to ask Keiran more about being turned when he excused himself and stepped out of the room. While he was gone she messed around with her tongue ring and examined her fingernails. When he came back and looked into her eyes a smile slowly crept across her face. “How did you do that?” she asked, trying to hide her fascination. The blue eyes that she could fall for were back and they were making her melt. There was just something about them. And as he grabbed her hands she found it very hard to want to continue talking to him, but she promised herself that she would stay strong and maintain conversation.
“So I have to imagine that you’ve got plenty of years of wisdom over me, right? Why become a student if you’ve been around so long? I mean, did you chose to look this young or were you turned at this age and will look like this forever?” Mikaela wondered if the fact that he was way older than her would change the way they saw each other. Maybe he aged in existence and that was it. “”Would you consider yourself to be an adult or are you and always will be the age you appear to be?” She had so many questions. She just hoped that she wasn’t bothering him.
OoC: worst.post.ever. Where do you want to go after this, because I can’t imagine that you want to stay in your dorm forever….?

Keiran tried not to remember about his situation of being turned. It was not necessarily pleasant; and reliving it was particularly painful. And it all started, when he was stupid and young 16, almost 17, because he liked this one girl so much. He kinda knew she was different... There was something about her. Although he was insanely intrigued, there was always this intense feeling forever sending chills down his back. Just the thought, the starting of what were the events leading up to him being changed made him shiver. He felt like ice was coming from his lips as he exhaled. It was so cold...all the time, around that girl, and it just got colder.
He watched with cute amusement as a smile appeared on her lips, when instantly she noticed the change in his eyes. He knew that she would prefer the normal-Keiran, and that was why he did that for her. But she asked the question that made him cringe slightly, but he figured he should tell her... "Um...well...don't be grossed out - blood, don't worry... I didn't kill anybody..." he put his hands up as if to show he were harmless, before he'd hopped on the bed beside her.
"Yes...probably too many - you don't even want to know," Keiran promised her, it was fairly old, probably disgusting to her. He was a pretty young vampire though, but she probably hadn't heard very many Vampire's ages before, so he'd seem ancient to her. He smiled at her flow of questions, it was actually kind of cool that she was so interested in...him... in what being a vampire was like. "I became a student because I usually go for as many different experiences as possible, I mean, being nearly 300 years old life can get a little boring..." immediately he blinked, and covered his mouth with his hand... Did he just say that aloud? Obviously Keiran was getting way to comfortable with Mikaela... That shouldn't have slipped.
"Um. Whoops." That was all he could muster to say.
He would be blushing furiously now, if Vampire's could blush. "I was turned at this age... I was almost 17, and, yah, so I'm going to look like this forever, well, or until someone stakes me or something," he said with a snicker. "No... Not really an adult," he said, now answering her question, "I feel like I kinda missed out on that... I mean, yeah, I am mature, I have all of those years behind me to back myself up with experience, but I still think like a teenager a lot... too much, probably, that's why I tend to hang around teenagers... I can be around adults, and act like them, but it doesn't seem as natural..." he purred, in his silky, Vampiric voice, yet, it had a hint of wonder to it, for he could barely comprehend it all himself. oOc: Your post was great. Heh, I loved the questions. I had to think.

As Mikaela read Keiran’s face she received a vibe that told her that his turning experience was very traumatic. She couldn’t even imagine what it had been like. The pain of having so much blood sucked out of your body, yet still being kept barely alive. It seemed unreal. Those kinds of things really are life changing events. Being a vampire was never going to go away and that was all because of one person. She really wanted to know how it happened, but that was a bit too personal. Had it been her, she may have wanted to die instead. She wondered whether he even had that option. But had he not been turned, Keiran wouldn’t be sitting here with her now.
“Oh,” was all she said when he mentioned the blood. It weirded her out a little bit but if she wanted to spend more time with him (without being eaten…or seeing someone else get eaten) it’d be something that she’d have to get used to. It was just blood. As long as she didn’t know where it came from, she was alright.
Mikaela nodded along as he spoke. All of this new information was really interesting for her, despite the fact that she liked Keiran. She loved to learn, though she’d never admit it, and vampires were an interesting topic. She was about to ask him another question when he mentioned that he was 300 years old. Mikaela coughed a little, choking on the air the she gasped in. He had centuries over her. Though it was a little strange, she wouldn’t think any differently of him. His age didn’t mean anything to her before, and now that she knew what it was, she wasn’t about to judge him. She was better than that.
The fact that he was turned at such a young age made the whole thing seem much more horrific and wondered who could do such a thing to him. He was such a good person; whoever had done it couldn’t have had a reason to harm him. At first, it would seem pretty cool to be a teenager forever, but the more she thought about it, the harder it seemed. To stay 17 forever meant that all of his friends would grow up, move on with their lives, and die without him. But then again, eternal life on Earth was something that many humans wished they were capable of. She didn’t know whether to feel sorry for him or not.
‘Well, I don’t really care how old you are,” She said finally with a smile. One thing she learned in life was that people were different; that didn’t make them strange or bad. All it took was understanding and acceptance. She just wished that people treated her that way. It would have made growing up a lot easier. “So, what powers or characteristics do you have that humans don’t?...other than the drinking blood part.” She had heard that some of them had super strength or were telepathic, or couldn’t walk around during daylight, but myths always circulated through school. She wanted him to separate truth from fiction.
