Mikaela scrambled around her room, cursing out loud. “Where the hell is my damned shoe?!” She had one foot on but the other was missing. There was never an instance that she was on time for anything, even if she tried. It was almost as if she was just physically incapable of being on time. But not tonight. Tonight she was going to be early…if she ever found that shoe. She refused to be late for this. A month was a long time, but now the wait was over and he was back.
Keiran was back.
She opened her trunk and tossed a few things around before she found the black ankle boot. “Finally!” After putting it on she walked over to the mirror and looked over her appearance. She looked a lot different from the last time when he saw her. Her hair was black and short and she looked somewhat happy. Mikaela rubber her lips together after applying some grapefruit flavored lips gloss. She stepped back to giver herself one final look. Denim skirt: Check. White Tank-top: Check. Black ankle boots: check. Yellow jacket: Check. Black purse (w/ wand inside): Check.
Sighing as she walked out, she wondered why she was so nervous. By now she was pretty comfortable around Keiran, but there was something about not seeing him for so long that made her a bit anxious. All of a sudden she cared if she looked nice or if her breath stunk, things that she never cared about so much before. Or was that because she was always overconfident in the way she looked?
Mikaela walked as quickly as she could to Hogsmeade and into a small café that she’d read about in the Daily Prophet. It was very casual so she seated herself at a table for two in the corner. The menus were already on the table but she didn’t make a move to look at them. Instead she asked for a glass of water and tapped her foot lightly as she waited (almost) patiently.
She wasn’t sure exactly where they stood but they had gone/hung out together a couple of times before he left. When he finally did leave she thought about him all the time and practically counted down the days until his return. Only, she stopped doing that after a while because 1) she didn’t want to seem desperate for his presence and 2) it just made the time pass much slower. Wherever that meant they were, Keiran had said that they’d establish their relationship further when he came back. She still had a lot to tell him about. A lot of things that he probably did not want to know.

ooc: Now that it's raining more than ever Know that we still have each other You can stand under my umbrella You can stand under my umbrella Ella, ella, eh, eh, eh
>_> Keiran was also having his fair share of nerves. The girl that had clouded his mind for the past month now was soon going to be in his sight. He remembered every detail of her: her eccentric hair, those piercings, the way she talked, her mannerisms. He couldn't remember being so hung up on someone in such a long time. It was quite exciting for the old vampire... especially since she was human, and especially since she knew his secret and accepted him. It made him smile as he sauntered around his room, flailing his arms in attempt to find something to wear.
He was so nervous! He didn't know how to act. Part of him wanted to kiss her when he saw her, but maybe that was too much! He was biting his lip, bouncing around his room. Unlike Mikaela, it was typical of Keiran to be this anxious. He'd reluctantly come up with a happy medium- he'd kiss her on the cheek. With his wand, he flicked and turned it, causing an outfit to fly infront of him. It consisted of tight black jeans, a white dress shirt, a black button-up vest, and a crimson tie. Instantly after it was summoned he threw off his current clothes, and slipped into the ones floating perfectly before him. God he loved magic.
Along with getting ready, he maneuvered his wand and whispered words that made a spectacular assortment of flowers appear in his hands. The best thing about the flowers, that they would assort into exactly what Mikaela wanted the second she laid eyes on them. Again- he LOVED magic. That's what he wanted, to know more about her. All those little things, like what her favorite flower was. Maybe she didn't like flowers, and in that case the bouqet would disappear.
In all of his nervous agony he skipped off to the café that they had planned to meet at. Tapping his thumbs on the entrance, he finally opened the door and stepped in. It took him a minute to find her- but he'd recognize that face anywhere. Excitement over took his face, and he tried to throw the nerves aside as he basically ran over to her. He didn't want his happiness to be THAT evident. But at least she'd know how he was feeling, he wasn't so hot at masking his feelings. Not often.
Her hair was soo different! But it looked AMAZING on her! The only difference in Keiran was that his hair was a little longer, and he'd ditched his glasses. "Hi Mikaela! God I missed you! God you look amazing!" his usual silky voice was discarded for the human Keiran to take over. He kissed her on the cheek, nervously, and he may have brushed against her lips just slightly. He offered her the flowers, him watching them change.
He was beyond happy. It was nice.

OoC: Sorry it's so late. I wanted to write something good. I don't know if I actually accomplished that though. Also, I LOVE the sig!! It's just...AH!
Mikaela continued to tap her foot anxiously as she rummaged through her purse for a cigarette. She tried not to leave them lying around too much because she wanted to kick the habit. However, her nerves were getting the best of her right now and she just need something to calm her down. “No!! Then you’ll have cigarette breath!!” She thought to herself. Closing the bag abruptly, she began to tap her fingernails on the table instead.
She turned her head to the side and saw Keiran walking over to her quickly. Her eyes were radiating with excitement as she beamed with joy to see him. He kissed her on the cheek and she started blushing like mad. Someone on the outside would have never guessed that they had almost slept together on the night they first met. A lot had happened that night and every moment of it was fresh in her memory. It seemed as if it were yesterday yet also a long time ago.
Her smile became even brighter as she took the flowers from him and they turned into a bouquet of mixed tulips and lilies. Both were her favorite flowers. Mikaela gasped as she put the flowers on the table and hopped off of her seat to wrap her arms around his neck. “Oh my goodness! These are beautiful. Thank you so much.” She kissed him on the cheek this time as she hugged him tight. “I’ve missed you too.” He had no idea how much. “And you’re looking mighty fine yourself!” That was no lie. She had missed his gorgeous eyes and smile.
“Sit, sit,” she said indicating to the seat across from hers. “I’m so glad that you’re back.” She couldn’t stop smiling. “I dunno,” she said shaking her hair around. “I just felt like I needed a change and at the time the best way to do that seemed to be chopping my hair off. When I cut it it felt as it I was cutting away some of my baggage. And I needed a new image. I was being recognized for the wrong reasons for too long so I died it. I just want a fresh start starting with a fresh look.” Mikaela ordered a salad to start when the waiter finally came over to the table. “I’m not as extreme as that muggle singer in the States. She’s just a bit mad if you ask me.” Mikaela looked over his face before speaking. He pretty much looked the same except for growing out his hair, but something seemed a little different. “Oh, your glasses! They were cute on you but I think you look just as good without them.”
“So how was your trip?” She asked with great interest. She hadn’t really quite understood where he was going or why, but knew that it had something to do with vampire business, stuff she didn’t quite understand just yet. While he’d been away she’d attempted to attend classes more often so that she could cram in some notes to study for her final exams. In her mind, as long as she aced the exams there was no need to worry about her attendance record. She’d also had two of her “episodes” while he was gone. They weren’t as bad as they usually were but they had definitely shaken her up a lot. She shook the memories of those nights from her thoughts and smiled back up at him while she awaited his response.

OOC: Haha thanks! Lol, I'm sorry too, I didn't notice that you posted until now. Keiran was so giddy with the prospect of seeing Mikaela again, that any normal vampire seeing his behaviour would surely have smacked him by now. A good, long, hard smack. But he didn't care, he also didn't care that he was grinning ear to ear, thankful that his fangs weren't visible in his human state. It probably would have freaked the girl that was now infront of him right out. "You're welcome!" he said proudly, and he would have blushed completely too, but his pale skin never took on any such color. He was grinning so badly when she said that she missed him, and that he was looking good. He felt like a kid again, which was nice for him. "Awwheehee thank youu..." he said in his giddy state, starting off with a weird, but adorable laugh. She probably wanted to smack him too, he was just there, in awe that she waited for him. That she missed him. That she was happy to see him. He didn't know why it all seemed so perplexing to him. Maybe because they only really had hung out a few times before he had to leave, but he should be confident with what relationship they had. "Gladly," he said, sitting down. He felt like he had been standing for a long time. Not that he wouldn't stand for her forever. "I'm so glad to be here and see you again..." he really was. He couldn't stop smiling either. When she explained her hair, he nodded, he understood. "That's a good reason, I hope it's a nice new start for you, as long as you don't ditch me to renew yourself," he threw in a small joke, kicking in his silky voice to sound extra smooth. "What Muggle star?" he couldn't help but ask, but he wasn't very up to date on what was happening with the Muggles were doing. Why, if he did, then he would be shocked to find out that there was a singer that looked just like Mikaela!! ( ) Keiran nearly giggled as she commented on him. Didn't he feel adorable? He did! "Aww stop flattering me, I should be showering you with compliments, you're the beautiful one," he said, and couldn't help but lean over the table and press a cute little kiss on her forehead. "My trip was pretty good, I just had to go talk to some old clan members and stuff," he smiled, "to make sure they weren't going to kill me, stuff like that..." he flashed her a grin. "How was it here? Anything exciting happen?" he asked her, he just wanted to know about her. There was so much they hadn't talked about yet... and he really wanted to. He wanted to be there for her, and for her to know that.

Mikaela was not being herself. She normally was not this giddy and smiley, but seeing Keiran after his being away for so long had brought out another side of her. It was as if her edgy attitude was replaced by bashfulness and blushing. She hoped that giddiness wad just a phase because the edge was what made her Mikaela. Though she wanted to change, there were parts of her that she wanted to stay the same; her attitude being one of them. It was almost like a weapon or a piece of armor she could use to protect herself.
It made her feel good to see Keiran so happy to see her. It made her feel special and cared for, something she’d only felt by someone else, her mother. No one else had ever bothered to make her feel important. That’s why she lived her life sticking her middle finger up at the world. She had been through hell and back two times over and it was like no one gave two shits. At least that how she felt until Keiran came along. He listened to her and stuck around. She just hoped that he’d still be that way after she told her about her horrific past and present issues. The things that she’d experienced were often too much for the strongest of men to handle. But she had faith in him. She knew that he’d stick around. After all, he’d promised.
“Well, I don’t know. You might me cramping my new style.” She laughed. “I’m just kidding. You know I’d never ditch you.” Lately he’d been her sanity, even though they’d only really hung out a few times before Kerian had to leave. Without him she’d crash and burn. It was amazing what a little trust and understanding could accomplish. If only she’d known him her whole life. She may have turned out a totally different person.
“Oh, um… Her name is Britney something-or-other. I read about her in magazine at a muggle tattoo parlour that I go to. It was just sitting on the coffee table while I was waiting to get some new ink. I’ve never had to wait so I’d never seen them before. Funny how the pictures are all completely still. The people in them don’t even blink.” The only time she had seen anything like that was the first time she;d seen some of the photos that Keiran had taken.
Every time Keiran complimented her she swore she could feel her heart flutter. But when he kissed her forehead it must’ve stopped for a second. The simple kiss was filled with affection, she could feel it. She was sure that it was nothing too strong, but it was there. No lust, no hunger, just affection. Again, the only time she’d ever felt like this was when she was around her mother. She had been kissed and infinite amount of times by several people. None of which had an ounce of affection in them. Mikaela lowered her head with a sheepish smile. “Aww… Thanks.” So much for not being giddy.
“That’s good. I’m glad they’re not going to kill you.” She laughed and smiled again. “Nothing really. Just studying and whatever. I don’t want to fail my exams. Oh, and this girl from your house was brutally murdered the other day. Her name is Chanel, I think, but I can’t remember what year she was in. Whoever did it must’ve really hated her or been hella crazy because they really fucked her up. I mean, I heard that there was blood all over the library where they found her. The killer didn’t even use magic to kill her. And the worst part is that they haven’t found him yet. Now everyone’s freaking out because they think he might still be in the school.” She knew Hogwarts was a crazy place, but never in a million years would she have guessed that something like this could happen.

Keiran could hardly recall a time when he was giddy in this way either. Not that he was macho, only his emotions had never been shown so eagerly. She certainly seemed to draw the best in him. He hoped dearly this wasn't just a teenage obsession. She was a teenager, and often they loved irrationally. In his mind he didn't doubt her, he just feared it in the slightest way. Luckily he could put those worries aside, and embrace her presence fully. There was no point in him wasting away the present, while he had her for sure. The smile on her face was unmistakable - she was happy.
The vampire was very glad that the night they'd first met had turned out the way it did. Otherwise he wouldn't know this happiness, the one he was tasting so fluently now. If he'd just 'had his way with her' both sexually and killing he would have destroyed such a beautiful soul. He adored staring at the prints from that night, the picture that they had taken, her reluctantly accepting those black eyes. She still was here infront of him, embracing that evil in him, completely surrendering her safety. He loved that about her - not many humans were so kind.
He pretended to be hurt by her comment, placing icy fingers on his chest with his mouth open wide. He loved this new confidence radiating off of him, the one where someone believed in him. "I knew you were kidding," he said soon after he'd had his fun, grinning beautifully. Trust and understanding did amount to so much. They trusted each other, with him being vampire and all, and regardless if they knew every secret locked away between the two of them they still understood each other. He couldn't wait to know more about her, though, no matter how dark her secrets were.
"Yes, it does seem quite unnatural, but I really like it for a professional photograph, that way the beauty stays the same. Not that I haven't taken any moving photographs, but then it's always different..." he trailed off, not wanting to blab on about his photography obsessions. "Britney..." he tried to familiarize her name but the effort was hopeless. "So you have a new tattoo?" he gathered that quite easily from what she was saying. A smile formed on his lips, and he boldly asked this, "Can I see it? If that's okay..." he always stuck to manners, it always sounded better that way.
He smiled, seeing her swoon and squirm over his actions made him feel so high. He could almost feel her heart flutter. He loved that sensation, to know he caused someone joy rather than pain. "You're welcome," he said in response to her thanks for the compliments. It would be impossible to have her in front of him and not compliment every bit of her. Especially when they hadn't seen each other in so long, it would be devestating for him to just ignore the fact that she was stunning.
"Yeah that wouldn't have been pleasant, I honestly didn't do anything," his silky words made the line seem of innocent perfection - how could she not believe a tone like that? And his ocean eyes to back the statement up, were cuter than ever. "Failing isn't good, I'm probably going to fail if I don't get going... especially with taking that extremely long while off, I suppose I'll catch up though, even if I have to snap a few necks.. I mean.. persuade people..." he inserted the most innocent grin he had quickly after this statement. He was seriously kidding, and he hoped to God that she realized that. He hadn't hoped to God in a long time, chances were that he wouldn't be on Keiran's side.
"Oh, whoa really?" he raised an eyebrow, shocked at the news. He was generally appalled, that was insane!! His face paled, he was quite happy that he hadn't been there for the event. In case news had gotten out that he was a vampire, fingers immediately could have been pointed at him. And that was why he liked to keep it a secret. Keiran gaped at her, blinking rapidly to try and figure out if he was dreaming. "Well that's scary," he would admit that. Not for him, he could kill some deranged human in an instant. It was Mikaela he was more worried about. "If think your in trouble with something like that, don't hesitate to think my name really loud - I'll hear you," it may have sounded weird, but she'd must have heard of the rumors that vampire's could read minds. "He better not come after you..." he made that clear, his tone held both worry and determination.

Being with Keiran did make Mikaela happy and she wanted to hang on to this feeling of happiness for as long as she could. It wasn’t everyday that she felt like this. In fact, she never felt like this and she wanted to do whatever she could to preserve this feeling. Happiness was like a drug. A high that she never wanted to fade. Keiran seemed to make her that way just by being there and smiling. He didn’t even have to say a word.
Mikaela had promised herself that she would never judge anyone. She’d been judge by people her whole life who didn’t know anything about her. She wouldn’t be a hypocrite. Keiran was different than other boys, in more ways than the obvious. There was more to him than sharp fangs and bloodlust. Who was she to judge him because he was different? She would accept him flaws and all, even if that meant lowering herself in front of him like live bait.
“Yeah…I dunno. Sometimes I just feel inspired so I draw something and take it to the tattoo shop. Then they work their muggle magic.” She grinned when he asked if he could see it. She didn’t mind showing it to him, but they were in a public place and exposing that area of her body might not be appropriate. But what the hell? When did Mikaela ever care what was appropriate and what wasn’t? “Sure, you can see it.” She stood and moved so that she was directly in front of him. She hooked her thumb in the waist of her skirt and pulled it down a little to expose the skin on her the left side of her lower waist. There were two hearts, diagonally linked together, each about the size of a nickel. On the inside of the first heart was the word ‘Escape’ and the word ‘Dulce’ in the other. “You like it?” she asked looking down at him.
She couldn’t see why anyone would even think of harming Keiran. He was amazing. Sweet, charming, hella attractive, and a master kisser. And his voice. There was something about it sometimes that just made her toes curl and that was an accomplishment. Mikaela was usually the one making toes curl. Or so she’d been told by a guy, or two, or…well a lot. Not that she was proud of that. “Snap a few necks, huh? Well I don’t think the school can handle anymore deaths so I just might be forced to help you.” She smiled. She was actually good when it came to studying.
“It’s crazy isn’t it? I couldn’t believe it myself when I heard.” Mikaela wished that she had seen the girl’s death coming, but she knew better than to think she could turn on her seeing powers whenever she wanted to use them. Visions just crept up on her, often about the strangest things. They never came to her when she needed them. In fact, she got them more often than not when she wanted them the least about things she wished to never see again. It had to be some kind of defect. Were seers supposed to see the past that clearly and accurately? She shook the thought off. This wasn’t the time.
“Okay.” She smiled when he said for her to think of him if she needed his help. That wouldn’t be difficult at all. It made her heart swell to know that he’d wanted to protect her. He’d even tried to protect her from himself and that took a lot for a person to do. She appreciated the gesture, but if protecting herself from him meant keeping her distance, she was willing to take the risk of putting herself out there.
OoC: crappy-ass ending. bleh

(Warning - may be short)
Keiran was better than the vampire within him. He never would take someone's life who was meaningful to him. Normally he tried to kill psychos, murderers, or people that were generally bad. He couldn't always, but when the opportunity came he would choose that person over someone innocent. He would never pierce Mikaela's skin with his fangs, unless she wanted to be turned or do something freaky, he wouldn't turn her though. It wasn't the most pleasant road to go down. She'd have to beg for that, and he was sure she didn't want it. He had never wanted it.
"That's cool, I should get a tattoo," he looked down at his bare arms. He was a vampire now, the whimpy human stage was over - he could handle it. It was neat that she drew her own. He grinned 'innocently' as she pulled her skirt down a bit. Her daring streak exhilirated him. It was a very pretty tattoo, and he wanted to grab his camera. The only problem was...he didn't have his camera. "I love it...so you drew that? It's really good, you should be a tattoo artist," he said to her. He meant it. It looked professional to him.
He chuckled, "I wouldn't do something like that, then everyone would think I was the killer, I'd love for you to help me, if you have the time," that would be so much better than some random kid telling him what he should have learned. They'd probably go way in depth, and tell way too much about what went on. Mikaela would be perfect, a good conversation, and an attractive girl.
"Yeah.. whoa.." still, he was clearly shocked. Mikaela probably thought that news like that shouldn't phase a vampire, but it alarmed Keiran. The school was supposed to be safe, those poor wittle students... He smiled when she accepted the offer. That was a frightening thought, having her be killed by some psycho. Keiran visibly shivered at the thought. "So anything new happen around here other than that...? Wait, are classes and everything still happening like normal?"

Mikaela loved tattoos. As the ink on her body said, it was her Escape Dulce – her Sweet Escape. There was something about the needles, poking her flesh that drew her away for a moment. She could lose herself in those moments. And when she came back there was a piece of art left behind to remind her of the journey. Same with piercing…but she was running out of places to pierce. “Really?” she said as she sat down again. “I’m thinking of getting another one soon. I’m not sure what or where yet. Maybe you could help me figure it out.”
She grinned at the thought of Keiran getting a tattoo. A tattoo would just add to his hotness. “Well, if you really want one, I could draw it for you and take you to get it done. It’d be fun. Just let me know.” She shrugged when he suggested that she be a tattoo artist. “I dunno. I’ve thought about it, but just as a hobby. I want to do something to help people…” She almost added like me to the end of that sentence, but then she’d have to explain what she meant by that and she didn’t really want to do that.
“Nothing new really. Classes are still the same for the most part. Everyone is talking about it though. And I’ve seen a few investigators from the ministry around. Word is that this girl was related to some guy that works for the ministry. Like his only child or something.” Her mind absently wandered to where their waitress was. “…Uh, yeah so they’re going to have the head of whoever did this to her. I just wonder what their motive was. I mean, I didn’t know her or anything, but she seemed nice enough.”

Keiran didn't have a love for tattoos like Mikaela; instead he had this distinct fascination with them. Humans knew they could be painful, yet they still went to get the art permanently plastered to their flesh. It was intriguing, the thoughts, Mikaela was brave in his eyes. When he was younger he knew of them, still in a mortal mind he shuddered at the thoughts of needles. Now he'd have to pretend it hurt.
Humans normally had meaning behind the tattoos, and that made the pain probably worthwhile for some. "So you don't mind the pain?" he couldn't help but ask, hoping she wouldn't take it in a "good, now I can randomly bite you" kind of way. Then again, thoughts like that probably didn't pass her mind in these innocent conversations. If his pretty eyes faded into black, she would think more along those lines.
"I would love to help you figure it out," he purred in his most lovely voice. "That would be great, we could go get one together - and we could design together, not that I can draw..." he smirked, meaning every word of that statement. Drawing was most likely not a strong point for him, it never had been. He could contribute creative ideas. "Helping people is good, I wish I could do that, except I'm more of the opposite," he admitted, "but it's not my fault, y'know..." he added that on, hoping she understood it wasn't his fault with the lack of being able to help people.
Sadly he'd probably just eat them. By accident, of course.
"They don't take any safety precautions around here," he joked, all though at the same time Keiran was serious. "Maybe it does have something to do with her father being in the Ministry, a grudge or something. Do you think that the killer is older, or a student, or a professor?" he raised his eyebrows at the thoughts of it all. Who would ever really know?
Despite their gruesome subject he couldn't help but smile across the table, at Mikaela. Her eyes, her lips, her personality just drew him in. She was the most interesting human he'd encountered for a long while, he wanted to give her another hug. That hug they'd shared moments ago wasn't long enough...

“The pain? Oh no. Sometimes I don’t even feel it. But when I do it’s like…a good kind of pain. I know it sounds weird but I don’t it’s hard to explain. I kinda get lost in it.” Mikaela decided to stop talking before she started to sound crazy. Getting tattooed was practically like a high for her. This was still better than what she was doing before. At least this way she couldn’t kill herself.
“Ooh. This sounds really fun. And I can help you with the drawing part.” Drawing was just something that she picked up a few years ago as a hobby to keep herself busy. Luckily she had a knack for it, something she’d always assumed she’d gotten from her mother…though she’d never actually witnessed her drawing anything. “Yeah, I understand,” she said smiling. And she was glad that she did. Most people probably wouldn’t. To her, life in the future had no purpose if she wasn't going to help people. The odds of her raising a family were slim and she saw no point in living for herself. It just seemed so meaningless, so empty.
Mikaela laughed. It was true. She half expected there to be guards in all the corridors or something but there was nothing of the sort. Everything proceeded as usual. “I really don’t know what to think,” she said, shrugging. “I mean, the fact that this person didn’t even use magic to kill her is really odd. Maybe the killer is a muggle or a young student that is new to magic. But I just can’t imagine someone too young brutally killing someone like that.” She didn't think about it too much, but sometimes she wondered if the killer was near. She never thought she'd have something like that to fear while in school, but now she felt the need to look over her shoulder.

OOC: Eee! I <33 your avatar. "Hm, so you like pain?" he said the words nearly seductively, his eyes shifting over to her face. Shortly after he grinned to make sure she didn't get freaked out. He was a vampire, and hearing that she was okay with pain was a great opportunity to speak up. He now smiled kindly at her, "I like pain to, but I think that comes with being undead and all... it's hard though because not much hurts me anymore. Now other people's pain....." Keiran now trailed off, and left it at that. Before she began to think he was crazy. "Yes it does, we should go soon. It would be very fun," the idea seemed exciting. Something to do that was different from his usual routine. And a tattoo, ooh, how badass. "Thank you, it's not by choice," he was glad that she understood. Even if she was fearful at first, he totally understood. He'd be freaked if he was with a vampire, too, as a human. It's quite frightening. "Hm, yeah that is weird. Maybe it was someone twisted. Maybe it was a demon, or a vampire, though, the forest isn't far from Hogwarts," he pointed this out, glancing around. He watched the area as if he were able to see right through someone, pointing out the killer easily. That was impossible. Everyone in the room was so happy... except for a girl in the corner getting broken up with. Her sobbing was incredibly obnoxious, yet Keiran couldn't help but stare, dumbfounded. "Wow." He actually said outloud, his crystal eyes enlarged as the girl continued to cry out, banging her fists and slamming her head against the table. It was an intense moment, with the exboyfriend looking over her with a smirk on his lips. OOC: Random-ness at the end there...

“Like pain?” Mikaela took a sip of her drink then shrugged. “I dunno. I guess you could say that. I mean, things like stubbing your toe suck. But there are times when I’m in this state of mind when I can use pain as an emotional release.” Was it okay to say that? She wasn’t sure that he would understand. And she wasn’t sure if she liked talking about this. Sure, she was comfortable with Keiran, but she’d never talked to anyone one about this stuff before. It even sounded weird to herself when she said it out loud. The vampire lifestyle was completely new to her. It seemed, from what Keiran was saying, that pain was bliss. “What about other people’s pain?” She wanted him to finish. She found the things he was saying very interesting.
“Let me know when you wanna do it. I’m always ready to get new ink. I might even get a new piercing, though I’m running out of body parts to stick things in.” She laughed because that sounded really wrong. “Um…well you know what I mean.” There was a little voice in her head that was questioning whether or not she should continue to see Keiran. But she ignored it because she knew that she had nothing to be afraid of. She even felt safe.
“Well whoever or whatever it was that murdered her, the whole thing is completely insane. I can’t even imagine it happening. Like, my heart breaks for her because this girl suffered a horrid death.”
Mikaela followed Keiran’s gaze to the couple, or former couple, in the corner. Her eyebrows raised as she watched the dramatic scene unfold before her. “Wonder what’s going on over there. I’ve never been broken up with but if I ever am…” She knocks on wood. “…I hope that I can control myself enough not to act like that. Girls like her make women seem crazy.”
OoC: crap + lateness = terrible me! Sorry.
