Amelia had made little stride this year making more friends as she fluttered above the students walking in the halls. She was once again reading a book, this was another of the mystery novels those strange muggles wrote about. She was fascinated by it as she could not help the fact she was so lost from the world that was real. Amelia was getting depressed. She was not having any fun this year, it seemed that things were not getting better as one would hope.
She was trying to get control over her ability to see the future but that was a far cry from success as she only caused herself to get a terrible nosebleed. She occasionally looked up from the book so she would not crash into anything, not often things were hanging from the ceiling, she was generally in a good distance that she could not worry about crashing into someone or something.
Amelia was like any other teenager; her wings and being a Faerie made her no different then those teenage wizards that walked below her. She got angry, scared, and worried. It frustrated her at times, being a Faerie and if it was not enough she was a princess. What was this life given to her? She was not really sure about it at all. It was a good time before she had classes that day as she was wearing some comfortable sweat pants, and a long leave shirt to match, specially made for a Faerie.
She looked up just to make sure she was still headed in the right direction but something strange happened. Amelia was not looking at the Hogwarts School she knew so well; it was something else. In a panic she dropped her book, but it never hit the ground, she was in some sort of strange building, and then heard terrible voices. She never had experienced something like this before.
Sure enough something hit her hard and she crashed falling down on the ground. A small scream was heard before a thud as Amelia landed on the floor. Her mind however was still somewhere else as she landed on one of her wings, it would surly be broken, but she lay on the floor unconscious with a thick book by her side. A portrait saw it happen and called for help. To passerby’s Amelia looked like she simply went a little crazy, and fell from mid air, but something more was happening this time.
