Caitlynn knew the only thing that would cure her boredom was a nice long walk, or a 'meander' as her mother would call it. She had never checked to see if that was even a word, she just used it in her own vocabulary. Besides, what was wrong with making up your own words? Her mother was one of the smartest women Caitlynn knew personally, and it would only be right if you were smart to have the right to make up words. Caitlynn had made up a few herself that her mother had thought ingenious or outright funny. She smiled at the memories as she walked. She didn't know where she was going, as she wasn't paying attention, she was just focusing on meandering about until she was no longer bored, vaguely taking in the scenery around her. She sighed in frustration as her hair came out of its clip and some small hairs got tangled with her small dangling earrings she was wearing. Of all the most inopportune times... She thought, rolling her eyes as she stopped walking and her fingers patiently untangled her hair from her earrings. Then she undid the rest of her hair from its clip and shook it back and forth while brushing it with her fingers. She redid her hair and secured it in her clip. She could almost see how odd it must look in back, but she didn't really care, after all, outward appearances were deceiving.
Plus its not like I'm trying to impress anyone... far too shy for that. She brushed imaginary dust from her light blue shirt and from her navy blue jeans before starting her meandering again. Her tennis shoes made no sound on the grass and she herself made no noise, unless one counted the barely audible sound of her inhaling and exhaling. She stopped instantly when she realized she was in the middle of the Quidditch pitch. How in the planet of Pern...? She looked around in mild surprise, actually processing the scenery around her for the first time since the beginning of her meandering. I have been meandering a long time indeed if I find myself here. She laughed softly to herself at that, brushing a strand of hair that fell away from her earrings so that it wouldn't get tangled in them again, but at the same time the strand of hair elegantly rested on her cheek. Not that that particularly mattered much, but she did like to look at least half way presentable at all times. She heard a small sound behind her and turned to see what it was then suddenly felt herself go really shy, her hands working quietly infront of her.
"Er... hello." She said softly. If that person had known her at least remotely well they would have known it took a lot for her to say that to a complete stranger.
