Donovan resisted the urge not to laugh. "Um...it's quidditch actually." She really had no clue of anything in wizarding world at all. "I'm sorry about what your parents did. That really sucks." He didn't know where to start with her. He had already pulled out all the stops when it came to his powers and she still didn't seem very convinced. Despite his desires to prove to her that magic was real, he didn't want to freak her out anymore. No matter how funny it was.
"I know a little bit about soccer. It's that thing where you kick the ball right? It's a pretty wicked sport but it'd be cooler if the ball could fly or something." She probably wouldn't agree, but he was meerly expressing his opinion. "So what exactly do you know or believe if anything about magic. I mean, we have to start somewhere."
He hoped to get a look into her elemental powers. Those things always fascinated him and it'd be cool for them to learn more about them together. They had gotten over the first hurdle that was trying to get her to at least talk to him and agree to let him help her. The second part would be even harder. He was sure of it.
