Richard Lupo walked slowly thought the forest. It was big But he hoped that soon he would be able to see enough to really understand it. Richard adjusted his old and worn cloak he had on, there was really no reson to do it, he just felt like doing it. "This place is amazing," he said in awe.

Trees are great, decided Arya, who was perched up in the boughs of a white pine. This wasn't the first time she'd been able to catch someone--prey or otherwise--unawares from above their heads, where no one thought to look. There were too many dangers on the ground. It helped that her friend the wind hid her scent at her request...that way, the hunter would not become the hunted.
The lycanness peered down at the grungy-looking man, who was apparently in awe. Of what, she wasn't sure. It was a nice forest, sure, but not that special compared to others. Except for its inhabitants, of course, though she doubted he knew the full extent of the population just yet. He smelled of her own race, so she refrained from attacking. She merely watched for a little while, curious.
Then she heard his awestruck mutter. I guess he thought no one was listening, she thought, her lips twisting into a sardonic grin. Time to test this lycan--was he tough enough for the forest?
"Well, of course it is," she said, responding to his comment while dropping swiftly from the tree and landing in a crouch both gracefully and nearly silently. Arya stood up straighter, then adjusted her position so that she was leaning against the tree, glaring at him with a glint in her eyes that could spook or amuse, depending on her mood. It was somewhere in the middle at the moment. "There are people like me--and you-- all over the place. It has to be amazing," she added as a haughty afterthought, including the "and you" to be polite.
