A clock in the distance struck nine as a lone figure crept into the darkness of the Forbidden Forest. His bulky, black leather boots made a thump with each step he made. He wore long dark pants made out of black fabric similar to denim, which were held in place with an ash-gray belt with a heavy silver buckle, which added to the noise he made as he strode deeper and deeper into the depths of the forest. He wore a solid white t-shirt under a dark, heavy fur-trimmed long coat. He hated being cold, and he hated the wintertime, and often dressed in attire that many normal people would find far too warm, even in Winter. One of his black gloved hands appeared from out of one of his coat pockets and pushed his long, dark hair out of his eyes. He navigated further into the forest until he was almost directly between the demon territories and the vampire territories.
He was unsure if he wanted to continue to the demon territories or not, he doubted that they would care for a mixed-blood like he anyways. Debating mentally, he sat down at the base of a shady tree and held his hand palm upward in front of him. He created a fire and started to move his fingers around to manipulate the shapes the fire created and to see the shadows it made. He felt more at ease being in a forest of creatures that he didn't belong to when he was accompanied by his favorite element. If a creature came in peace, he wouldn't need to resort to fighting with his beautiful fire, but if a creature came to kill him off due to his half-bloodedness, he was ready to stand up for himself. Still debating on whether to go meet the local demons or not, Marius Maramros sat at the base of the tree, playing with fire. Marius realized that the fire gave off smoke, and any creature with half a brain could find him either by that or by his human smell. After a few minutes of deep thought and debate, he decided he would wait until someone found him there, friendly creature or not, he was closer to the outskirts of the forest where he was versus in the demon territory itself. Making the fire bigger so it would create more smoke, Marius hummed a random tune in his head while waiting for someone to investigate the smoke.
